Time has gone very quickly since the April Pageant and we have been doing lots of things. The Oklahoma United States Title holders have made appearances all over the state and with all kinds of charities. One of the best and biggest events was the purple sash fashion show to help raise funds for the YWCA in Oklahoma City. all of them are ready for the National Pageant in Las Vegas during the next two weeks. We are very excited.

Johnathan Kayne has been to China and will be showing his new line at the Atlanta Market in August. He is also beginning a doggie couture line called Kayne9 and he will be showing his swim suit line for the first time at the Atlanta Market. He is headed to Atlanta for the Catalog Photo Shoot this week. His biggest news is that he is a grandfather. Tiara gave birth to two very tiny puppies about 2 weeks ago. Mother and babies are doing well.

We crowned a new Miss Oklahoma and had to say good bye to Makenna who did a magnificent job representing us this year. Talia Berning is now Miss Edmond LibertyFest after winning the first 2009 preliminary of the new season. Congratulations to Talia. She was also named Rookie of the Year at the 2008 Miss Oklahoma Pageant.

Adam Ledbetter will be attending UCO this coming fall to finish his Bachelor Degree before leaving for Berkely School of Music for graduate work next year. He is still playing every Friday and some Saturdays at Othello's on Campus Corner in Norman.
